Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of Control and Access to public premises Act 53 of 1985
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
• Knowledge of Emergency Procedures in the workplace
What You’ll Do
Responsible for security and access control at the premises by verifying visitors, managing entry and exit procedures, issuing access documents, and directing or escorting visitors. Conducts patrols to ensure safety, checks for security risks, fire hazards, leaks, and suspicious activities or objects. Applies emergency procedures and reports incidents to relevant authorities. Monitors the movement of assets, inspects vehicles, prevents unauthorized removal of property, handles classified documents according to regulations, and maintains accurate incident records in occurrence books and registers.
